Pros: "Even the departure was delay we arrive on time" Cons: "Dirty seat and table. Crew member in charge treated passengers as foolish cattle. Pros: "Check in online" Cons: "Seat comfort was not good. No recline and no seat pocket. No frills I guess". Cons: "Four hours late leaving Stansted because Ryanair ground crew were under staffed". Pros: "Staff were friendly, and the flight was smooth, plane was clean.
Obviously this happens, that's fine, but on landing at stanstead the bags from the hold were not released onto the baggage carousel for over an hour and a half after we landed.
This is completely unacceptable and wasn't acknowledged by airport staff for over an hour, with no explanation given at any point.
Pros: "Boarding was reasonably slick. Staff were very polite and helpful. Flight was on time. Flight was packed and the buses from landing site to airport entry were rammed. At least 6 passengers left standing outside the bus for a good 10 minutes with indecisive ground crew pacing, staring and disappearing with no solution until a senior member arrived and squeezed people into the driver's cabin. Seat space is pretty tight.
Not the most comfortable. Not a fan of trekking to Stanstead but it was earliest flight so no option but Ryanair". Pros: "Good flight, friendly crew. We stood in line to board for well over an hour. Pros: "Nothing" Cons: "The plane seemed incredibly old, like nothing I've seen before. They wanted to charge us 50 pounds to check in our luggage at the airport. I never received an email about needing to check in to the flight online. Luckily we arrived early enough to the airport for the customer service desk to let us know we only had 20 minutes to check in on our mobile devices.
The landing of the plane was also the worst I have ever experienced. Everything was so unorganized and uncomfortable about this flight and airline. Pros: "The flight was on time leaving and arriving" Cons: "Ryanair has strict baggage limits on size and weight. Pity they don't enforce these limits some of the bags brought on as cabin baggage exceeded the limits in both respects by a long way.
This is annoying when I went to lengths to meet the weight and size limit. Because of this lack of enforcement boarding and leaving the aircraft was total chaos. Cons: "Charged us 90 pounds extra because we didn't have access to the internet to check in the day prior. This is a very discriminating practice against those who can not afford to be on the internet.
It should not be allowed and our money should be refunded. Shame on Ryan Air to have such a discriminating program. Cost for a one way trip from London Stansted to Dublin, Ireland for two, Cheap is relative? Pros: "Friendly crew" Cons: "The seats are to close to one another and gets unconfortable fast". Pros: "This was one of the worst airlines and overall worst travel experiences I have ever had.
I travel alot and Ryanair is one of the worst airlines in business today. The entire crew on the plane was rude and uninterested in offering any service or answering any questions I had. Pros: "The plane was clean, the crew was polite and helpful" Cons: "it's not worth it, i chose it as it was the cheapest flight available, what u discover later is that u pay 2 times as much in transportation because the airports are further off than the main ones, I ended up paying pounds for my luggage, it was 8kg over weight but that price is unreasonable.
I ended up checking in and baggage drop in nearly 2hrs, they were so slow And I could have missed my flight if I wasn't there extra early. I might as well have used some other airlines with alliance and even got miles".
Pros: "Extremely friendly in-flight crew; one of the best I've seen in my frequent travels. Half of the kiosks were not functional. After standing in the Customer Service line for assistance because the kiosks kept charging our credit cards and not printing anything, the Customer Service agent told us we had not paid despite our receipts showing we had.
Wasted another 30 mins going through that process. Hidden Fees galore. Thankfully I had read through all the emails from Ryanair, both marketing emails and flight related, to have noticed all the additional fees.
This meant my friends ended up paying double what I did for their flights after all the additional fees. The boarding process out of STN was incredibly inefficient, but that has little to do with Ryanair.
The gem in this whole experience was the in-flight crew- kind, calm, and incredibly pleasant. Pros: ".. The yellow in the logo" Cons: "Where to began??
The most unorganized company I've ever come across. They don't accept online checkin. They don't explain that you need to pay for an airport fee which is 45 euros in addition to the plane ticket which is crazy. Oh customer service Ha ha ha ha. Just a mess. Never again with this airline, I'd rather pay extra and go with another airline.
Pros: "Nothing. I'll never fly Ryanair again. Pros: "The in-flight staff was friendly" Cons: "The boarding process was incredibly disorganized, with no rhyme or reason for why we were waiting in line after line after line without getting close to boarding the plane.
The flight was delayed so we missed our takeoff time, and had to sit on the tarmac for an additional hour and a half until we could get another time. There were very few updates given, and people had to ask flight attendants for updates since no one knew what was going on even the flight attendants didn't know. We weren't provided any snacks or drinks not even water and were told we couldn't even purchase water from them because they weren't allowed to sell anything until we were in the air.
When we arrived in Edinburgh, we had to wait for a gate to be available because we were so late, and then had to wait an additional minutes for grounds crew which ended up being one woman before we could get off the plane.
Pros: "The flight was short. We have traveled and checked in to over 8 flights on this trip all across Europe. But with Ryan air, for some reason, I checked in for the flight but it did not accept on RyanAir side for some reason. I knew I would need to pay for excess luggage not a surprise. I was expecting it but then I paid to get up front seats with priority boarding. I had to enter in all the passport info, select seats and pay immediately. Then at the airport, they told me I never checked in.
