Desmond, Lucy, Rebecca, and the rest of the gang set up camp in the ruins of the Villa Auditore. Once they are safe in hiding from the Templar, Desmond returns to live the life of Ezio.
The storyline of Ezio picks back up in when he exits the Vault. Cesare takes the Apple for himself and the Templars. Ezio eventually recovers the Apple and hides it. AC: Brotherhood is also a non-demanding game for modern systems as it only requires a dual-core processor, 2GB of memory, a DirectX 9. Ezio travels to A. Constantinople is divided into four districts: Constantine, Bayezid, Imperial, and Galata. The Templars completely populate the majority of the underground city of Cappadocia, which is where Ezio begins this journey.
While in Cappadocia, Ezio finds out that Altair has sealed an ancient artifact that could end he Templars forever. In the present day, though, Desmond is trapped inside of the Animus 2. He finds a safe mode called the Black Room where he must find a key memory that will link him back up with Altair and Ezio and wake him from his comatose state. This fifth addition to the epic saga is set in 18th century America during the American Revolution.

Once Ratonhnhake:ton Conner is born, the perspective does switch from Haytham to him. You learn how he became an assassin and of his trials and kills. You would think that Desmond dying would be the end of Absergo using him for information about his ancestors, but it is not. Absergo then hires someone that can look into the memories and relive the life of Edward Kenway. Edward Kenway was an 18th century pirate and grandfather of Conner from the previous game.
He uncovers a plot between Templars in the British and Spanish empires. They tend to use their positions of power to pinpoint the Sage. The Sage is the only person that can lead them to the Observatory, which is a First Civilization device that can be used to spy on anyone anywhere.
While in training in the North Atlantic chapter, he meets another assassin that goes by the name of Adewale. Adewale brings devastating news of an earthquake that destroyed Port-au-Prince. Shay then impersonates a Templar courier and delivers the artifact to Benjamin Franklin that is voiced by Rick Jones. Benjamin experiments with electricity generate a map that shows all the locations of the Precursor temples. A temple in Lisbon holds the Piece of Eden. Shay is sent to retrieve it. However, once he learns of the danger involved with retrieving a Piece of Eden, he decides to forgo the mission and steal the manuscript so no more destruction can happen.
The Brotherhood catch him, though and shoot him before he can destroy the manuscript. AC: Rogue takes yet another small step up in terms of system requirements, but modern systems should be able to handle it as well. A Templar hides a sword and book in a crypt before being assassinated. In the present time, Bishop, a member of the modern-day Assassin Brotherhood, takes control of the memory.
The memory moves forward to Versailles in She is the daughter of the Templar Grand Master. After this the story skips forwards to Arno sneaking into a party to meet with Elise. When he sneaks out, he finds the Grand Master murdered and is mistaken as the killer. After he escapes from his prison cell, he returns home to Elise only to be turned away. Despite being released the same year as Black Flag, AC: Unity saw a big jump up in system requirements.
Still, most modern gaming PCs or laptops should be able to handle this 5-year-old game. In this installment, an assassin initiate is called upon again to relive the lives of more assassins. This time around, the assassins happen to be twins Jacob and Evie Frye. It's solid, but you have to really love Assassin's Creed. This is the old-generation-only release for Players take control of Shay Cormac, a former assassin turned Templar assassin hunter.
Shay's story takes place during the Seven Years' War and his quest makes him a contemporary of Haytham Kenway during his rise to power in the Colonies. The game is developed by Ubisoft Sofia and will utilize an improved version of Black Flag's gameplay. Rogue has no online play and the modern day side of the game actually focuses on the inner workings of the Templar organization Abstergo. Should You Play It: Perhaps! Here's my review of the game and if you're looking for more Black Flag, Rogue is the game to play.
Unity is the next-generation-only version of Assassin's Creed, built from the ground-up for the new consoles. French assassin Arno Dorian operates during the French Revolution, attempting to stop the Templars who would destroy the safety of the Paris. Unfortunately for Arno, his adoptive father is the local Templar Grand Master and his love interest Elise is a Templar herself. Unity adds a new Parkour system to the game, allowing Arno to get down from high buildings as easy as other protagonists could climb up.
Should You Play It: Maybe. Like I said in our review , it didn't come together all that well, but it's still a solid entry in the series. Set in Victorian Era London at the beginning of the industrial revolution, Syndicate is the story of twin assassins Jacob and Evie Frye. Players can take control of either assassin as they seek to free London from the grip of the Templars by taking control of the city's gangs.
One big change here is the more vertical nature of London, which feeds into the series' new feature: the grappling hook.
Unlike previous entries, Syndicate has no multiplayer whatsoever, focusing purely on a single-player experience. Should You Play It: Yes! Syndicate was a return-to-form for the series and ended up being one of the stronger entries thanks to the story split between the twin assassins. Ubisoft took a different approach to its Chronicles spin-off series, creating a trio of 2. China, India and Russia received staggered digital releases before being bundled together at retail as the Assassin's Creed Chronicles Trilogy.
MetaScore: China: 69 , India: 63 , Russia: Should You Play It: No. While Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China is a bit of a novelty if you haven't played a 2D game in the series before, the gameplay becomes stale fast. As some of the best games in the series it's a shame the visual makeover wasn't better, but this is still the best way to play Ezio's games on the current generation of consoles.
It comes with all the single-player DLC for the games, but multiplayer doesn't feature at all. Should You Play It: Yes, if you haven't played the games here before. Newcomers to the series will see why the Assassin's Creed franchise became the giant it is, but existing fans won't get much from the refreshes. Given the way the Assassin's Creed franchise has underperformed in recent years, both commercially and critically, and following a terrible movie, Ubisoft is currently working on a game it hopes will reignite interest.
Reportedly named Assassin's Creed: Origins , this year's game is thought to be set between and BC. While leaked information was thought to possibly be fake, Eurogamer verified the story, confirming the game and its late release date on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
